Is it possible to hike along the River Li or to kayak?

Yes, It is possible to hike along the River Li. Most people would choose to hike between Xiping and Yangshuo, which will take 6 hours hiking crossing the river three times by local ferries.

It is possible to kayak on the River Li, but officially it is not allowed to kayak on the section between Guilin and Yangshuo.
